A native of Connecticut, John moved to New York and graduated from Pratt Institute with a degree in communications, but never lost sight of his passion for architecture and interior design. Pursuing his passion, John travelled extensively throughout Europe leading to a two-year residency in Istanbul. John honed his communication skills as Director of Marketing Communications with Joseph E. Seagram & Sons. Subsequently, his skills in customer relations led him to the famed Algonquin Hotel where he became Director of Customer Relations. It was during this period John sharpened and developed his interpersonal skills allowing him to quickly identify guests’ personas, pairing them to their interests, wants and needs.
